چکیده

The Ziehl-Neelsen stain is a mixture of Basic Fuchsin (BF), phenol (Ph), and methylene blue. It used to the cell walls Mycobacterium species. In this study, was efficiently removed from synthetic wastewater using natural clay Gankawa (GC) Sulaimanyah city, effect presence high concentrations in adsorption demonstrated. addition, X-ray diffraction (XRD), fluorescence (XRF), N2 gas analyzer, field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) were characterize clay. found be mostly calcite, with minor percentage smectite, contaminated low percentages illite. kinetics show relatively fast equilibration time (60-70 minutes). A second-order pseudokinetic model better fits experimental kinetic data. initial pH solution negligible at concentration range study. Freundlich Langmuir’s isotherm models applied equilibrium data nonlinear regression curve fitting. Both studies point chemical mechanism for process. For mixture, molecules compete BF active sites, while synergetic exists on adsorption. As naturally abundant cheap material, GC shows superior capacity toward (287.0 mg g-1) over all materials most or modified literature.

Basic dyes removal from wastewater by adsorption on rice husk carbon

Rice husk carbon (RHC) has been prepared from rice husk impregnated with 50% H3P04 and carbonised at 300°C. Its adsorption capacity has been tested for the decolourization of wastewater containing safranine and methylene blue. The effect of system variables such as concentration, temperature, pH, contact time, adsorbent dosage and particle size are investigated. Removal of dye has been found to...
